This past weekend Canelo Alvarez sold out the Madison Square Garden arena in New York City where heavyweight Boxing champion Anthony Joshua was ringside.
During his time there he made several media appearances and went on a sort of a media tour begging Deontay Wilder for a fight on April 13th at Wembley Arena.
But according to BoxingScene.com, the Wilder fight was never in his sights as Joshua spent the majority of his time negotiation a fight with the trash talking heavyweight Jarrell Miller instead.
The fight is set to take place in June at MSG making it Joshua’s United States debut and Eddie Hearn plans to use the Wembley Arena on April 13th for Amir Khan vs. Kell Brook. More soon.
